I decided to use Candyfloss by Jaqueline Wilson to label my conventions because I noticed that it included all the conventions of the form whereas some book cover designs don't. My reasons for choosing this book is because Floss and her dad have a lot of flaws.
Pink: Authors name
Green: Book title
Orange: Illustrators name
Yellow: Award notice
Pink: Barcode
Green: Award label
Orange: Book title
Green: Authors name
Pink: Name of publishing company
Yellow: Synopsis of the book
Green: Price
Yellow: Photo and blurb about the author, including image of author.
